Northampton County Boat Ramps

Cheriton, Virginia is a mecca for boaters with access to the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and the inland marshes that lead to the Atlantic Ocean. Public and government owned boat ramps are only minutes away.

NOTE .... Fuel is not available at any of the public ramps except at the Cape Charles Public Dock and Ramp. Fuel and som eservices are available at Davis's Wharf, directly across the creek from Morley's Wharf.

Located ajacent to the Cape Charles Coast Guard Station at Cape Charles harbor.


Oyster Boat Ramp

Located in the town of Oyster off of Rt. 639.


Red Bank Public Ramp

Located east of Marrionville off of Rt. 617.


Morley's Wharf Ramp

Located west of Exmore near Wardtown at the end of Rt. 606.

Willis Wharf Boat Ramp

Located in the town of Willis Wharf off of Rt. 603.


Kiptopeke State Park and Boat Ramp

Located approximately eight miles south of Cheriton on the right just past the Kiptopeke Inn.

Wise Point Federal Boat Ramp

Located on Rt. 600 just north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.
